Samsung Galaxy S21 / S30, goodbye curved screen: it will remain only on the Ultra

Samsung Galaxy S21 / S30, goodbye curved screen: it will remain only on the Ultra

The Galaxy S series has been over the years almost a synonym of curved screen, after popularized the solution from its S6 Edge. Over time, and especially with the last two iterations, the curvature has become less marked: on the S20 family you almost forget that it is there. And now it seems time has come for a return to the flat screen, S20 FE style.

According to the well-known leaker IceUniverseIn fact of the three models that will make up the S21 lineup (or S30: we still don't know), only one will keep the screen curved: the Ultra. That, moreover, at this round will perhaps have, according to rumors, also a nib, and the task of spiritually replacing a Note series that should stop (from next year or the next) to leave more room for the foldable proposal.

Just these days, thanks to some first renders, we have had an idea of what the new S21s could look like: that is, very similar to the S20, but with a decidedly more captivating photo module. The flat screen on the base and Plus version could, paradoxically, be one of the biggest innovations in terms of visual impact. A sharp cut from the past. At the moment there is nothing for sure, but apparently we will not have to wait very long before we have any certainty: Samsung seems ready to anticipate the launch window of its flagships, which could arrive as early as January.
