LG: New UltraFine, UltraGear and UltraWide monitors at CES 2020

Lg announced that at CES 2020 it will show the public the new generation of UltraFine, UltraGear and UltraWide monitors, already awarded with the CES Innovation Award.

The monitor UHD 4K UltraFine 32-inch UltraFine "Ergo" (model 32UN880) is designed for those who spend a lot of time at the desk. The arm stand allows for careful adjustment to create a perfectly customized workstation. The stand can extend outwards, approach the wall, move to eye level, lower on the desk, and even be rotated in the opposite direction. It offers a USB-C single cable solution for fast data transfer, power supply and charging of a laptop. In recent months, remember, LG has also revamped its 27-inch UltraFine 5K.

{34}New UltraGear gaming monitors also announced: 27GN950, 34GN850 and 38GN950 that go alongside the UltraGear 27GN750 model brought to IFA 2019. The first has a 1 ms Nano IPS display with an update frequency of 144Hz and over-clocked at 160Hz, as well as a hardware calibration to provide accurate color reproduction. The single DisplayPort cable supports VESA Display Stream Compression (DSC) technology for optimal performance, without data loss, when handling 4K UHD images.

The monitor also supports HDR and is compatible with NVIDIA G-SYNC with adaptive synchronization technology. The UltraGear 34GN850 and 38GN950 models are equipped with large 1 ms IPS displays and a 160Hz refresh rate. The 27GN950 and 38GN950 are VESA DisplayHDR 600 certified while the 34GN850 supports VESA DisplayHDR 400.

The UltraWide QHD Curve monitor - 38-inch (model 38WN95C), also winner of the CES Innovation Award, has a resolution of 3,840x1,600 pixels and a 1 ms Nano IPS panel with an update frequency of 144Hz and NVIDIA G-SYNC support. The 38-inch Nano IPS display covers 98% of the DCI P3 color space, is VESA Certified DisplayHDR 600 certified and integrates Thunderbolt 3 connectivity.
