Revenues in China's industrial production of computer science increased by 6.3% on an annual basis in the first quarter of 2019, while profits plumbed by 7%, due to an increase in operating costs of 6.2% over the same period. They state the data of the Ministry of Industry and Information technology.
Investments in fixed assets in the sector saw an increase of 5.5% compared to one year ago, reversing the downward trend registered after the first two months. According to the ministry, the profits of the communication equipment manufacturers increased by 4.9% and those of the computer manufacturers recorded a growth of 51.7%.
However in the first quarter, the production of mobile phones in China decreased by 14.7% compared to the same period last year, according to data from the Chinese ministry. In the same period, the production of laptop laptops decreased by 3% while the tablet's had increased by 19.1%. (ANSA-XINHUA).
